What touches your skin matters.
Why we started
We put thought into our skincare, what we eat, and how we sleep. But the fabrics that touch our skin every day often go unnoticed. We started Doctor Towels to bring that same care to something as familiar as a towel.
How we came together
Vanjinath
Co-founder. Father.
Vanjinath brought two decades of experience designing and manufacturing home textiles.
Cherubin
Co-founder. Son.
Cherubin brought a background in human-computer interaction, AI, and design.
As father and son, we combined what we knew about making fabrics with a simple question: how could everyday materials be made with skin in mind?
We began with towels. That question shaped our choice of banana viscose and aloe vera fibres, our separate face and body sides, and the development of Skin Shield technology.
Where we want to go
Doctor Towels is the first chapter of House of Doctor. Our vision is to bring the same attention to the other materials we live with, from the towels we dry with to the bedding we sleep on. It starts with one belief: what touches your skin matters.
